JACKET HERO - Mike Quebedeaux is carried to the Yellow Jacket locker room by his teammates after he made a last second jump shot to give Thomas Jefferson a 58-56 victory over Beaumont High in the finals of the Yellow Jacket Basketball Tornament over the weekend. The Jackets now 15-3 on the season, will face Beaumont french Tuesday at 7:30pm in their final prep South Zone struggle. Jackets scoring leaders are Quebedeaux and Ron Mustgrove. Other starters will be chosen from amoung Ron Waedemon, Gary Hammond, Tommy Thompson, Merwyn Wright and John Williams. The Jackets will open South Zone action in Vidor Friday night.
